These terms govern your use of marlir.com, an editorial recipe publication referred to below as "the Site". By opening and reading the Site you accept these terms. If you do not accept them, the remedy is simple and immediate: close the page.

1. What the Site Is

The Site is an independent online journal about Flemish home cooking. It publishes recipes, kitchen notes and related editorial text. It sells nothing, processes no payments and creates no user accounts. Access is free and open.

2. Cooking From Our Recipes

You are welcome, and indeed encouraged, to cook every recipe on the Site for yourself, your family and your guests. You may print pages for personal kitchen use and share links to the Site freely. What these terms permit is personal, non commercial use; they do not transfer ownership of any content to you.

3. Ownership of the Content

The text, layout, arrangement, selection of recipes, brand name and visual identity of the Site are the property of the publisher identified below, except where material is credited to a third party (for example, licensed photography). Reproducing substantial portions of the Site on another website, in an app, in print or in any commercial product without prior written permission is not allowed. Recipes as mere lists of ingredients are not protected by copyright in most jurisdictions, but our descriptive text, method writing and page composition are.

4. Conduct That Is Not Acceptable

• Scraping, harvesting or bulk downloading the Site's content for republication or model training without permission.
• Interfering with the operation of the Site, probing it for vulnerabilities or attempting to gain access to its hosting infrastructure.
• Framing or mirroring the Site in a way that misrepresents its origin.
• Using the Site's name or identity to pass off other content as ours.

5. Links That Lead Elsewhere

The Site may contain links to external websites, including the policy pages of advertising providers. Those destinations are governed by their own terms and policies. A link is a signpost, not an endorsement, and we are not responsible for what third parties publish.

6. No Warranties

The Site and its content are provided "as is" and "as available". While recipes are tested with care in a home kitchen, we make no promise that any recipe will suit your equipment, your ingredients, your dietary needs or your taste. To the fullest extent permitted by law, all implied warranties, including fitness for a particular purpose, are disclaimed.

7. Limits on Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, the publisher shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental or consequential loss arising from use of the Site or from cooking its recipes, including kitchen mishaps, spoiled meals or allergic reactions to ingredients you selected. Your sole and exclusive remedy for dissatisfaction with the Site is to stop using it.

8. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of Brazil, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any dispute arising from these terms shall be submitted to the competent courts of the publisher's domicile.

9. Changes to These Terms

We may revise these terms from time to time. The version published on this page, with the date shown at the top, is the version in force. Continued use of the Site after a revision constitutes acceptance of it.
